Easter Party Ideas – 2026

Throwing an Easter party can be a lot of fun, but sometimes it can get a little repetitive doing the same thing over and over. To put fresh life into your Easter party, try some of these new ideas to make your party memorable.

This is a great party favor for your party. For this station, you will need an adequate number of stuffed bunnies, as there will be young guests present. You may want to have at least a few extras, so everyone has a choice. For a minimal approach, you can have them in a large wicker basket. For something a little more fun, you could create a little grassy-looking display using Easter grass paper, and use your creativity to make the station look nice. Some signage would be good so your guests know what to expect, though you may want to dedicate an adult to the station to make sure everything goes smoothly.

To make this station into something more interactive, consider having cardboard carriers for your guests to decorate and take their bunnies home in. You can usually find blank multi-packs on online retailers that are cost-effective. To decorate the carriers, supply washable markers, stickers, etc. Try to stay away from anything that can get messy or stain your guest’s clothes.

What better way to remember your Easter party than having a fun photo station? There are multiple ways to decorate your station, but a quick and easy way would be to buy a photo backdrop and stand from an online retailer. If you want to get more creative, you could try to create your own decorative background. To add some silliness, you can supply bunny ears, cardboard speech bubbles, masks, props, etc., and get creative with it. Bonus points if you can trick or persuade someone to dress as the Easter bunny and pose for photos.

For the photos, a cheap and easy route would be to install a photobooth app on your phone. There are several that have different features that can make your photo station a lot of fun. One that is usually recommended is the Simple Photobooth Halo. Most apps allow you to text or email the photos to your guests directly, or some allow all the photos to appear on your social media group. If your party is inside and/or has poor lighting, you may consider purchasing an affordable photo lighting source. You’ll need to have an adult designated to run this booth.

This station is a unique party favor opportunity. For this station, your guests will get to plant flower seeds to take home and grow at home. This station can get a little messy, so it may be best to run at the end of your event.

You will need:

  • Small pots
  • Potting soil
  • Flower seeds (quick-sprouting seeds, such as marigolds or zinnias, are best)

If you want some extra fun, your guests could decorate their pots before planting. Stickers and ribbons work best here. Your guests will then fill the pots 3/4 with potting soil, drop in 2-3 seeds, and then cover with a light layer of potting soil. When done, use a small spray bottle to mist the top of the soil. If you have the extra budget, providing small spray bottles for your guests to take home can be a nice touch. Let your guests know to mist their plants once a day (or whatever the seed packs recommend). You may want to provide small carry boxes for your guests to take their plants home so as to prevent any spillage in parents’ cars.
